Last weekend my wife an I had the chance to photograph another very sweet newborn. This shoot was much easier, since the little guy decided to sleep through the whole session. This allowed us to get some very cute shots.
Last week we photographed Jack. At 5 weeks he was a little bit older than most newborns we photograph, consequently he decided that he wanted to awake for the photoshoot. Eventually with the help of his mother, Daryl-Anne he decided to settle down and as you can see he is a little angle.
Wedding Bells website has featured Sylvie Croteau-Chou’s and Jerry Chou’s 50’s themed wedding I photographed in Canmore. Check it out http://www.weddingbells.ca/real-weddings/a-1950s-themed-wedding-in-canmore-alberta/
Maggie was born on January 29th and we were lucky to get to meet her 11 days laters. She couldn’t decide if she preferred bing an owl or a ladybug.
A big thank you to all my clients for making 2012 a spectacular year!
The year started out with a fantastic and unseasonably warm February wedding. This was followed by weddings at locations all over Calgary and Southern Alberta. The venues ranged from small intimate spots like Teatro Restaurant and the Ranche House to vast sweeping locations like Spruce Meadows and Rafter 6 ranch. The finale of the wedding season was a destination wedding at a Napa Valley vineyard and included a tour of San Fransisco.
It wasn’t just weddings! My wife and I shot a ton of families and newborns sessions. These are, almost, always lots of fun.
During the year I also was lucky enough to photograph in several wonderful countries. These included Myanmar, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.
The following are just a few of my favorite engagement, wedding, newborn and family pictures from the past year. They are in no particular order.
Lauren was a late Christmas gift for Christine and Ryan. She was born December 29th at 7lbs 1 oz and 50 cm. She is very cute but also made us work hard, she did not want to be still.
