Earlier this year in fall when I photographed the Wood’s family, you may have noticed that Jen was expecting. No longer. Last weekend Debbie and I photographed the new arrival, Jeremy. Jeremy was just over a week old and he and his sister Hailea did a great job posing for the camera.
Last weekend I photographed some of my friends and colleagues from Genome Alberta. Despite having two families and three dogs the photoshoot went very smoothly.
A couple of weekends ago my wife and I visited the Thind family to photograph their 20 day old son Sahil. Both Sahil and his sister Navleen were a pleasure to photograph and as you can see very cute.
My last wedding of the year was extra special. The bride (Karen) was a very close friend of my wife and my wife was in the wedding party. The wedding was held in Picton Ontario in a beautiful stone church. We visited the family farm for the bridal party photos and the reception was held in Crystal Palace. Karen did an amazing job with the fall themed decorations.
Fall is typically the most popular time of year for family photos. This year the Schultz family was the last fall family session and it was one of the best. They brought along their dog Ringo and their son Van demonstrated his climbing ability before being covered in leaves.
On October 12th, Rachel and Richard were married in an amazing Catholic ceremony at Calgary’s Sacred heart church. The ceremony included 10 priests and was presided over by Rachel’s brother. As a surprise for Richard, Rachel hired an antique Bentley and chauffeur for the day. The day concluded with a reception at the Blue Devil Golf Course where Rachel and Richard were surrounded by their family and friends.
Although Fung and Anshone were officially married in China, they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate their wedding in Calgary with all their family and friends. So they got dressed up and had a great party at the Forbidden City Restaurant.
Autumn is hands down the most popular time of the year for family photos. On Oct 5th, I had a session with the Woods Family in Fish Creek park at the near the Ranche House. Their daughter Hailea was so well behaved, she made the photoshoot very easy.
