A big thank you to all my clients for making 2012 a spectacular year!
The year started out with a fantastic and unseasonably warm February wedding. This was followed by weddings at locations all over Calgary and Southern Alberta. The venues ranged from small intimate spots like Teatro Restaurant and the Ranche House to vast sweeping locations like Spruce Meadows and Rafter 6 ranch. The finale of the wedding season was a destination wedding at a Napa Valley vineyard and included a tour of San Fransisco.
It wasn’t just weddings! My wife and I shot a ton of families and newborns sessions. These are, almost, always lots of fun.
During the year I also was lucky enough to photograph in several wonderful countries. These included Myanmar, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.
The following are just a few of my favorite engagement, wedding, newborn and family pictures from the past year. They are in no particular order.
Noah & Nate are the very cute kids of a longtime friend of mine. The brothers had a fun time running and playing in fish creek park, they especially enjoyed the discovery of a ladybug.
As promised, part II of the confederation Genome Alberta photography session. This time it is the O’Connell family, Michael is another friend of mine from Genome Alberta. They claimed it had been a long time since their last photos, but clearly they are naturals.
Fall is certainly Calgary families favorite time to get photos done. This time we have the Wilson family. Not only did Erin bring two adorable daughters, she came with around 15 birdhouses the girls had helped make.
Last weekend I got the chance to photograph some of my friends from Genome Alberta in the wonderful fall colors at confederation park. This first series is of the Beaugie Family. Marnie’s son, Nate, is quite the tree climber.
Despite having a cold Kaitlin’s little boy was a trooper and gave us some great smiles.
Debbie and I had the good fortune to photograph the very fun and hip Biberger family. including their son Jonah and dog, Charlie. We had a great time playing in the leaves at confederation park.
