In 2017 I was luck to find time to visit China and Singapore.
I started my trip in Fujian province on the east coast of China to visit unique indigenous homes called Tulous. Tulous are circular buildings constructed of earth, rice, and bamboo with an interior courtyard. Some of these buildings were large enough to protect entire clans, consisting of hundreds of people, from bandit raids.
I then moved to Yangshou in Guangxi province to photograph the exquisite Karst Mountain landscape and the Li River.
My last stop in China was Guizhou province to visit the Miao and Dong ethnic minority groups.
I finished my trip in Singapore.
